Sivakumar is an Tamil cinema film actor who has portrayed a wide array of character roles that onscreen.He has been regularly contributing for the education and upbringing of wards of jailed humans. For 30 years, his Educational Trust has awarded the first ranking students from schools with cash awards and financial supports.Sivakumar is a trained Kathak dancer and was formally taught drawing.
Sivakumar is a trained Kathak dancer. In person he is so humble and polite. Apart from this he is also the founder of “Sri Sivakumar Educational & Charitable Trust”. The trust was started in May 1979 during a function held to mark Sivakumar’s 100th film `Rosappoo Ravikkaikari’

He is not only known for his versatility in acting but for his paintings of Bhradeeswara Temple, Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Naicker Mahal and Mahatama Gandhi. His work Idhu Rajapathai Alla, a widely acknowledged book was included in the 91- 92 curriculum of Loyola College, Chennai. The book contains more than 50 paintings of Sivakumar. At anytime he could recite the verses of Tamil poet Bharathiar and poems of Sangam literature with flair and ease.
